Be enrolled in full-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited United States two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational technical school for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Applicants must have completed high school or obtained a General Education Development (GED) certificate before the end of June 2023.
Those who do not receive a scholarship are invited to reapply in the future. Previous recipients of any AbbVie Scholarship are not eligible to apply.
AbbVie employees and their immediate family members are not eligible. Health care providers and their immediate family members are not eligible. Patients contracted with AbbVie through the Patient Health Approach are not eligible.
AWARDS:
If selected as a recipient, the student will receive:
Associate Degree: $5,000
Bachelor’s degree: $15,000
Masters/PhD: $15,000
Scholarship recipients must demonstrate a high standard of academic performance and will be required to demonstrate integrity of character throughout the duration of the scholarship for the 2023-2024 academic year. In the event that a scholarship recipient is charged with a crime involving moral turpitude under federal, state, or local laws, or commits any act that may bring AbbVie or the scholarship program into disrepute, the AbbVie recipient may will retain the right to disassociate itself from.
If selected as a recipient, AbbVie may use the image and likeness for promotional materials.
